ST LogiTrack Pte Ltd was awarded a contract to design, supply, and install an Electronic Library Management System (ELiMS®) for Adelaide City Council, South Australia, Australia.

Adelaide City Council has the objective to deliver comprehensive local services to residents of Adelaide, their vision is to "provide unique, flexible, accessible, community focused facilities that inspire and stimulate community life"
Electronic Library Management System (ELiMS®), a solution from ST LogiTrack has been implemented in Adelaide City Council's libraries.

ELiMS® uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to handle operational function such as loan and return, as well as the security of library materials.

RFID technology also provide the ease of use and efficiency in the library's stock-take exercises, searching of items and shelf reading.

Uniqueness of Project
Arming
- Items returned through the Book Drop are automatically armed
- Staff can immediately shelve back the items

Customised User Interface
- Interface was customised to suit ACC's corporate image
- ACC can maintain a uniform GUI throughout all systems

Exception reporting feature
- Exception of items returned are printed out for the library staff, to ease the process of RTOB policy and reservations of patrons

 
Patrons loan items on their own
 
Staffs are freed from mundane work for better services to patrons
Patrons can return item and have their loan cancelled in any time of the day
ELiMS® Book Drop allows only
valid items to be returned
